GRACE DUBE (TURCOTTE) 1949 - 2010 Peacefully, with many family members by her side, Grace passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Ester Turcotte. Left to cherish and honour her memory are her husband Normand, of 39 years; her brothers and sisters: Don (Gladys), Yvonne (Ron), Albert, Sylvia (Roy). Grace attended elementary school in Pine Falls and graduated from Powerview School in 1967. She met the love of her life and married Normand Dubé in 1971. They built their home in St-Georges in 1985. She worked at Shindruk Store, Midway and as of late Hometown Sausage. Grace had very close relationships with her nieces and nephews. She cherished them like her children. Grace and Normand traveled extensively through Europe, the United States and Canada. She loved golf, boating, cross-country, and downhill skiing. She was also a determined water-skier. She always had nice words for all of the people that she knew. Family was very important to her and not a week went by without her phoning her sisters and brothers. Birthdays and anniversaries were never forgotten. Known for her hospitality, warmth and laughter, Grace was loved and will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held at the Powerview Church, Notre Dame du Laus on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment will take place at St-Marguerite Church at Traverse Bay. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
